I’m In Love With Stacy’s…

A week before Stacy's opened a branch in Bonifacio Global City, Yza and I spontaneously drove all the way to QC on the night of the May 13 elections -- I guess to celebrate exercising our right to vote, if that’s still worth celebrating these days. hihi. =)

Stacy's

Capitol Greenstreet

Yza has always wanted to eat at Stacy's. She saw photos of the place some time ago and was so excited to see it in person. I, on the other hand, didn't know what to expect (never bothered to look at the photos. hehe). I just know it as a “cute-sy cute-sy place” according to Yza’s vocabulary.

When we arrived there, it was confeeeermed! The interior design of the place is definitely “cute-sy cute-sy”. You can also see all kinds of people here: both “young ones” and “once young” (we would like to think we still belong to the former =D).

They offer All-Day Breakfast food on top of their other bestsellers. While you wait for your orders to arrive, they provide a free mug of buttered popcorn with pretzels and marshmallows. Plus, they give you a tic-tac-toe board to keep you busy.

We wanted to try all their dishes but we can only consume so much. So we decided to get the following:

Stacy's - Granny's Picnic Bowl Granny’s Picnic Bowl (P210). Scrumptious Chicken and Pork Adobo, done two ways!
 Stacy's - Rice'n Shine
Rice‘n Shine (P205). Crunchy yet savory garlic longganisa with the perfect harmony of cane vinegar and choice seasonings. Served hot and hashed with fluffy onion and tomato omelette and roasted garlic rice.

Stacy's - Monkey Toasts
Monkey Toasts (P165). Fluffy pieces of cinnamon French toasts topped with sweet caramelized bananas, whipped peanut butter and dark chocolate chips.

Stacy's - Raspberry Blush Iced Tea

We didn’t realize we ordered too much until we were done eating. We were so full we didn’t want to stand up and leave. We spent a few more minutes basking in the Stacy’s ambience before driving back to Makati.

Needless to say, we were happy! =)

Cheers,
